"I recently participated in the 'From Fashion to Figure' workshop with John Keehn at Red Bench Studios in Jerome. I greatly enjoyed the experience and learned a great deal about photographing models. The instructor, John Keehn was excellent and he offerred many tips on camera settings, composition ideas, best angles to photograph from, etc. The location of Red Bench Studios, in the Old Jerome High School, offerred many unique backgrounds to photograph the models. The studio and the building has great natural lighting. The models, Violet and Jamie, were both very easy to work with and they offerred up many wonderful poses. Finally, Sue was a pleasure to work with. She did a wonderful job organizing the workshop and making sure that we were well taken care of. I would definitely recommend the Red Bench Photography Studio and will consider them again for a future workshop. - John Gafford, President, Sedona Camera Club (January 20, 2018 Workshop)
"The recent workshop at Red Bench Photography, led by Photographer, John Keehn, and Assistant, Sue Gregory, was an invigorating, productive morning shooting at the funky old Jerome High School. The leaders provided a well-organized, relaxed atmosphere so we 6 photographers could concentrate on creating and having fun. The 2 models were professional and eager to provide beautiful images." - Photographer, Pam Taylor (April 29, 2017 Photo Workshop)
"Thanks for another great workshop! Jessica and I had so much fun. You choose such wonderfully talented models and provide a stunning location that makes it impossible to walk away without some incredible shots. I really appreciate the low ratio of photographers to models because that provides a great dynamic without tripping over anybody or getting in their shots. It is also wonderful that you encourage experimentation so we can come away with unique images." - Photographer, Michael Mount (April 29, 2017 Photo Workshop)
"I enjoyed the workshop. The Models Violet and Jan were great. They both came prepared and being professionals needed little direction on posing. They were receptive to receiving direction when asked from the photographers for their vision. John & Sue were wonderful hosts/instructors. Both willing to assist and provide direction when needed or whenasked for help.
John and Sue's mission was for us to come away with awesome photographs, an understanding of the use of natural light indoors and outdoors, the use of different backgrounds and learning to develop a sense of vision when photographing models. I came away with awesome photographs, a better sense of how to use natural light indoors when photographing models and new photographs for my portfolio.
If you are looking for a new vision or avenue in your photography and want to get into fashion & figure photography, then you will want to take one or more of Red Bench Photography workshops. I will be signing up for another one." Thank you - Photographer, Jim Twedt (April 29, 2017 Photo Workshop)

Great studio and professional staff. Very flexible for scheduling and working with models and customer needs. Also host some great workshops for sharing a learning new camera techniques and networking. Located at the Jerome High School, which provides many different options for back drops, backgrounds, lighting, and props for pictures. Just ask for Sue, she is absolutely wonderful to work with, very open, and a go to for your next photo-shoot. Thank you! - Photographer, Wyatt Wirtjes (October 21, 2017 Photo Workshop)
